How It Works
What will your donations do?

Choose Method of Donation
Whether it be a cash, clothing, or equipment donation. You make a difference. Cash donations will be used to purchase clothing. Clothing and equipment are the preferred method of donation. You have 3 options of how we collect. Curbside pickup, school near you, or ship it.

Collect in Manila
After clothing is refurbished, it will be packaged and shipped to Manila. Once in Manila, family members and our Filo Connect team will distribute the packages to local schools in need.

Refurbish/Package
After I receive the clothing and equipment donated/purchased, it will be cleaned and inspected to make sure each donation is safe and clean. If not, we will do our best to refurbish the equipment for optimal conditions.

What next?
After the clothing and equipment is given out for children to use in Manila, we will likely receive hand written notes mailed back to us by grateful children. We will mail these letters back to you as a thanks for donating.
What to Donate
While all donations are welcome, clothing and sports equipment are preferred. Cash/credit donations are also an option and will be used to buy more clothing. We gather all sports equipment from basketballs to lacrosse sticks. All donations are appreciated.
Why Filo Connect?
Filo Connect is a dedicated Los Angeles-based outreach project focused on alleviating poverty in the Philippines. We collect clothing and basketball equipment for school children near Manila, aiming to make a positive difference in their lives. Your support can help us bring smiles and hope to these children in need.
